     When Belle Teal said live with her grandma and mother reminds me when my cousin and Aunt has to live with her/my grandma because of a divorse. They haven't come yet ,but they are coming. Belle is like my cousin she likes to be outside and have fun playing outdoors and haveing an adventure. their both creatuive and both the same age. i would recamed this book to anyone like Belle, my cousin and myself!

Veterans Day

The Point of Veterans Day is to celebrate all of the Veterans serving in the armed forces or the fallen Veterans. It honors Armistice Day or the end of World War I. Later in 1938, everyone agreed to change “Armistice” to “Veterans”. Every year Veterans Day it on November 11. This day came to be on November 11, 1938.To celebrate, there are parades and speeches along the United States of America.
     On November 11, 1921, an unidentified American soldier killed in the war was buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Washington, D.C.  It is called the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.  This “unknown solider” usually has the president or some kind of congress member visit his grave.

C. S. Lewis (about)

     C. S. Lewis (Clive Staples Lewis) was an intelligent book writer. He was born in Belfast Ireland on November 29, 1898. He was accepted to a boarding at Campbell College at the age of ten, but withdrew one year later. About three years later Clive enrolled in Malvern College where he stayed for about one year. He became an atheist. He started to take a private tutoring class that his father had gone to.
     Clive went in to the army and got wounded in the Battle of Arras. Later he was discharged in 1920.

     In May 1925, Lewis was chosen Tutor in English Literature at Oxford University, where he served for twenty-nine years until 1954. He was married at the age of 58. His spouse was Joy Davidman Gresham. After fighting bone cancer Joy pasted away in 1960. After Joy had died Clive still took care of his two sons.

     Clive Staples Lewis died at his home on November 22, 1963. Buried next to his true brother. They may rest and in piece

the mouse story -Lauren P.

     This is a story about two mouses. They both have different life stlyes. In the beginning the country mouse and city mouse where introduced.The city mouse wasn't happy how the country mouse lived.At the city mouses house had traps, cats, and cooksthat would kill them!Country mouse decided to go back home.The Country mouse decide to stay home and eat Barly and rice forever.

The Theme of Holes!!!! - BY Lauren P.

     The theme of Holes is that AMAZING things can happen to ordinary people like Stanley Yelnats. You see Stanley was walking home and that’s when he got hit in the head with a pair of shoes and ended up at camp green lake and meet Zero. Zero was Stanley first friends at Camp Green Lake. Zero clamped that he stole the shoes Stanley got hit in the head with. Zero and Stanley ran away from camp and they came back to dig one last hole where Stanley had found a gold tube. They dug there and found a treasure chest full of important papers, diamonds, and gold. Half went to Stanley and the other half went to Zero. Stanley bought a new house for him and his family. Zero hired a search teem to find his mom. That is the theme of the book holes.

 Lauren:    The  theme is grade aren't everything in America. In China (where Ying Ying Yu came from) grades ARE everything. (Ying Ying Yu's story)

Sierra:    the theme is that just because somebody's black dont mean that there they are mean or different from everyone else!!!(Kamaal's story)

         Tarken always believed in everythings. I beleieve the moral of this story would be...you can always beleieve in anythings as long as you put your mind to it!

Hi, i am Lauren P. and i am using blogger for my education at school. I am in sixth grade and i love my teacher!I enjoy life, like to be creative and have fun. Some of my closes friends are Ashley V., Kamryn H.,  Audrey M., Alyssa S., Rae Dawn M. Kayla F. and Aerial T. I have many more friends ,but these are the one i hang out the most.
